Included in the box is a sachet of icing sugar to dust over just before serving and a must do - even if it’s just for the visual. Unlike panettone, pandoro is fluffy with a full velvety texture.
Super Bottle Opener - CRANE
The CRANE bottle opener (£14.40, CRANE), which encompasses a design unlike any we have seen before, definitely ticks all the boxes (or should we say outside the boxes?) Made in Sweden from stainless steel, this small object has a history that spans across countries and fields. Inspiration taken from a French mathematician, a Danish poet and a Swedish architect (read more about it here), this superellipse design perfectly fits in the palm of your hand offering you a 360 degree option of bottle opening. Glenfiddich Orchard Experiment
Glenfiddich has collaborated with The Somerset Cider Brandy Company for this boujee in a bottle, Glenfiddich Orchard Experiment (£43, Waitrose). Born out of a craft for tradition and desire for experimentation, this bottle, the fifth in Glenfiddich’s The Experimental Series, is a first in its history to be finished in Somerset Pomona casks meaning you get the best of both worlds. As innovative as it is downright delicious this expression is one of our favourites and a sure fire win in any experimental drinkers eyes (and tastebuds). We love the fruit on the nose with the classic Glenfiddich notes just peaking through and the way the super sweet notes turn into a soft sweet creamy toffee on the palate.
